About Me



 I have been a full-time freelance writer for over 8 years, creating content for businesses in many industries. While overall a generalist, I specialize in writing for real estate, finance, and the automotive industries. 

I dreamed of being a writer as a young child and wrote many poems and short stories that I thought were brilliant. Of course, I never thought where my writing would take me, creating reviews of vehicle models, explaining how to buy or sell a home, and providing tips on saving money. I was published as an author for a few children's short stories before I went to college for a business degree (I have always been rather practical). 

I accidentally stumbled onto the realization that I could write for the internet, or rather for companies on the internet, when I was doing research for something. I discovered other average people writing about subjects they liked and knew. I did more research and began to find out how to do the same thing. It wasn't long before I realized I could be paid to do this writing. Less than a year after getting my first client, I was able to quit my job and start writing full-time.

Since that day in March of 2013, I have continued to write to support myself and my family. I bought my first brand-new car on my writing income and later my first home. While I haven't found the secret to being wealthy, I can pay my bills and I enjoy life as a freelance writer. I get to do fun things with my daughter and take a vacation whenever I choose. 

My goal with this website is to help others who love to write and dream of making money at it to find the inspiration and the education to live out their dream just as I have.
